What is Paint Correction

Paint correction is the process of permanently removing surface scratches, swirl marks, hazing, marring, and other imperfections in your vehicle’s paint. Paint correction is the mechanical levelling of clear coat or paint (using a mechanical polishing machine) to a point where all the paint is free of swirl marks and light scratches. It is an effective way to bring the colour back to its original shine.

The Proclean Solutions team are highly skilled in the use of dual action machine polishers. We utilise the best-in-class equipment and compounds to ensure high quality results to deliver you a great looking vehicle.

The Stage 1 Paint Correction Process is designed to remove light scratches and marring.

The Stage 1 Process

• High pressure wash of all paintwork
• Ph neutral hand wash – two bucket method
• Entire surface of the car is decontaminated using a clay bar and clay bar lubricant
• High pressure rinse
• Vehicle dried – Combination of machine and specific drying towel
• Alcohol wipe down of all paint work
• Trim and glass masked
• Cut and polish using dual action machine and relevant polishing compound

Final Touches

• Vehicle is washed and dried again to remove any polish compound residue
• High quality wax applied
• Wheels dressed
